In preparation for the launch of the Biosphere Integrity Fund, Clarmondial is pleased to announce an agreement to execute a pilot investment in the Mount Kenya landscape. This builds on Clarmondial’s local presence, and the foundational work done by Rainforest Alliance Kenya under the Mount Kenya Sustainable Landscapes and Livelihoods (MSuLLi) Program, funded by the IKEA Foundation. This strategic landscape has been identified as a priority, as it is an important biodiversity hotspot, a natural “water tower”, and produces strategic crops such as coffee, tea, macadamias, herbs, and spices.
